About this role
Member of the European Capital Markets Compliance team, with responsibility for supporting the Director, Capital Markets Compliance initiatives. Focus on delivery of enhancements to the RBC EG Compliance risk assessment process, control framework, and Compliance monitoring programme. Primary purpose centers on these activities for RBC EG.
Support mapping of specific Securities Trading Act and related regulatory requirements to existing controls within the RBC EG entity. Analyze effectiveness of mapped controls, identify gaps, and propose enhancements to mitigate risks. Work with 1LOD and 2LOD colleagues to agree remediation actions and implement new controls.
Contribute to enhancements ensuring sustainability of the control framework and risk assessment longer term. Support design and implementation of an enhanced Compliance monitoring programme for RBC EG. Collaborate within the broader CM Compliance team on additional activities as required.
