About this role
We are looking to hire an experienced Audit Manager to join our established and growing practice. The role is best suited to someone who is engaged, confident, and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in client relationships and business development. While pitched at Manager level, we would consider Senior Managers with strong experience in auditing professional firms, provided they are not seeking progression to RI soon.
This is a portfolio-led, assignment-based role offering exposure to a mixed client base, with professional firms making up approximately 50% of the portfolio. Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion, acting as the main point of contact for clients including law firms and accountancy practices. Perform and oversee onsite manager reviews where required, while directly line-managing 2–3 team members.
GP 6 is our City-based audit team focussed on businesses in industries including professional firms, real estate and construction, technology, retail, and media. We draw on specialist services from across the firm, empowering people to work directly with clients and build relationships. We have a People First approach with strong focus on individual development.
Play an active role in business development, including involvement in pitches and tenders, and identifying opportunities within existing client relationships. Get involved in advisory projects for professional firms such as KPI benchmarking, partner remuneration frameworks, structuring advice, and presenting training courses. Develop commercial confidence and visibility within the firm.
