About this role

Join our Capital Markets team to support clients through complex financial reporting challenges during transformational events. You’ll work on high-profile transactions such as IPOs, acquisitions, and capital raising. Provide assurance and advice on financial reporting aspects while building transparency for stakeholders.

Collaborate on varied engagements with senior management and external advisers like bankers and lawyers. Draft reports, comfort letters, and review transaction documents for clients. Assess prior audit work and uplift procedures for public company reporting.

Engage with client teams to understand financial reporting processes and commercial issues. Deliver independent reporting and assurance in a dynamic environment. Interact with senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes under time pressure.

This role offers exposure to senior management, bankers, lawyers, and other advisers. Develop skills in managing ambiguity and project delivery. Commit to continuous personal development and growth within PwC's Assurance practice.

Requirements

  • ICAEW/ICAS Qualification (or international equivalent) or equivalent work experience
  • Skilled in report writing and data analysis with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage ambiguity and deliver high-quality work under time pressure
  • Effective communicator with strong questioning and listening skills
  • Adaptable team player with organisational and project management capabilities
  • Committed to continuous personal development and growth
