Join UBS as an Analyst in one of the leading infrastructure and power franchises in EMEA. The dynamic and tight-knit team has advised on 62 M&A deals since 2021, including 41 sell-side transactions. Key focus areas include power, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

Provide key analytical support in idea-origination efforts and transaction execution. Work on M&A, equity, debt, private capital markets transactions, and continuation vehicles. Sector coverage spans sponsor-owned power generators, regulated utilities, and core/core+ infrastructure assets.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance, economics, business administration, mathematics, or related technical field
  • 1-2 years experience in investment banking including idea generation and transaction execution with focus on M&A
  • Excellent financial modelling experience including operating models, DCFs, merger models, LBOs
  • Robust understanding of asset and corporate valuation
  • Ability to prepare Excel models and PowerPoint decks
  • Solid financial and accounting skills
  • Previous experience in investment banking role in Infrastructure and Power preferred
  • Proficient in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

  • Provide key analytical support in idea-origination efforts

  • Develop PowerPoint decks for client presentations
