About this role

BTIG is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join its Investment Banking coverage group in London. The role involves all facets of investment banking activities, including M&A, private and public offerings, and advisory services. Candidates manage multiple projects, day-to-day assignments, board-level materials, and new business generation.

Interact independently with corporate clients, investors, and senior bankers. Assist in developing and cultivating client relationships while identifying new business opportunities. Perform product and market research to support tailored client recommendations.

Provide analytical and execution support on mergers, acquisitions, and financial advisory projects. Prepare offering memoranda, proposals, and materials for client meetings. Handle responsibilities with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field with strong academic performance
  • At least 2 years of investment banking experience
  • Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in presentations
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fluent in English on a professional level and another European language, preferable German

Responsibilities
