About this role
As a Vice President in the Mid-Cap team, manage relationships with public and private companies with revenues of $250 million to $2 billion. Provide traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products to clients. Business partners include specialists from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives and Private Banking.
Mid-market Global Corporate Banking offers clients the vast banking network of Chase combined with J.P. Morgan's global financial capabilities. Deliver extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and dedicated service to over 24,000 clients including corporations and financial institutions. Offer comprehensive financial products like credit, equipment finance, real estate finance and treasury services.
Execute transactions and drive business independently while supporting senior coverage bankers. Coordinate sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners. Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation and documentation.
Proactively market clients and prospects in the local banking community. Develop a network of referral sources representing GCB’s European Banking Group. Access investment services of J.P. Morgan for client opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Client / Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or corporate banking products and services
- Strong execution skills
- Knowledge of the UK Mid Cap Market
- Knowledge and experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking products
- Prior banking experience working within the UK
- Fluent English language skills
- Excellent oral and written communications abilities
- Strong leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, execute and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services
- Manage complex, multi-product client relationships and support more senior coverage bankers
- Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners
- Proactively market clients and prospects; represent GCB’s European Banking Group in the local banking and business communities
- Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests
- Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities
- Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMorgan Chase rules, policies, and procedures
