About this role
The Asset Management Digital & AI Transformation Director is accountable for rewiring how Asset Management delivers value to clients by embedding digital, data, and AI capabilities into core delivery workflows, decision-making, and operating rhythms. This role changes how work gets done to make better decisions, reduce risk, and improve quality and outcomes across the service line.
The role sets the Digital & AI direction by creating an Asset Management specific strategy aligned to the three-year vision and Industries & Sectors priorities. It defines digital must-win areas through competitor and gap analyses while identifying which delivery domains and workflows require redesign.
Day-to-day work involves owning the opportunity portfolio by sourcing use cases and participating in AI studios to validate and prototype solutions in client settings. The director makes buy/build/partner decisions and stops initiatives lacking clear value or strategic fit.
The position rewires service delivery workflows to embed digital and AI where they materially improve outcomes. It builds a network of digital champions, strengthens foundational skills through citizen development, and drives adoption of new tooling across Service Area Groups.
Requirements
- Proven ability to set digital and AI strategy for asset management service lines aligned to multi-year business vision.
- Experience conducting competitor analyses and gap assessments to identify digital must-win areas.
- Track record of owning opportunity portfolios and making buy/build/partner decisions for digital products.
- Demonstrated success redesigning end-to-end service delivery workflows to embed AI and digital tools.
- Experience building internal networks of digital champions and driving adoption of new tooling across service areas.
- Strong collaboration skills with digital intelligence teams, product managers, and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Set the Digital & AI direction for the Service Line by creating an Asset Management specific digital & AI strategy aligned to the three-year vision.
- Define and regularly update digital must-win areas through competitor analyses and gap analysis of existing tools and partnerships.
- Identify Asset Management delivery domains and workflows that must be redesigned to embed digital and AI capabilities.
- Own the opportunity portfolio by collecting and sourcing digital opportunities and use cases in collaboration with peers across Service Lines.
- Kick-start and participate in AI studios to validate and prototype promising opportunities in real client settings.
- Redesign end-to-end Asset Management delivery workflows to embed digital and AI where they materially improve outcomes.
- Build a local network of digital & AI champions within each Service Area Group to drive adoption and change.
- Strengthen foundational digital skills and AI usage through citizen development participation and targeted adoption campaigns.
