Analysts play an integral role providing analytical support on M&A, capital offerings, ILS and financial advisory services.

Daily tasks include preparing company valuations using discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables and transaction comparables. Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various scenarios and analyze capital structures or M&A impacts. Prepare marketing documents, client presentations and research for new business generation.

Requirements

  • Enduring work ethic and track record of success
  • Ability to function in team settings and on a self-directed basis
  • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills
  • Some experience in investment banking, management consulting, accounting or financial services preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated academic achievement and excellence outside of academics
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Prepare company valuations using discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables and transaction comparables
  • Prepare company marketing documents and client presentations and perform research for new business generation
  • Participate in origination and execution of M&A, equity, debt and ILS transactions
  • Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and analyze impacts of capital structures and M&A transactions
  • Prepare presentation materials for client meetings on strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and corporate finance
  • Participate in all stages of transaction executions from pitch phase through closing
