Provide an informed and impartial perspective to help clients reach goals through design and execution of infrastructure transactions. Advise large corporations, private equity, families, entrepreneurs and governments with deep market understanding and unrivalled industry networks. Support marketing initiatives, pitch books and transaction processes with research, financial models and valuations. Coordinate internally and with advisers on M&A and financing mandates. Contribute to high-volume transactions leveraging global financing specialists.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year experience in the infrastructure or energy & power sector
- Previous experience gained in a similar role in another financial services organization
- Experience to develop financial models and valuations with an understanding of financial statements analysis
- Previous exposure to infrastructure-like financing products and capital structures
- Exposure to fundamental financial principles and experience of applying these
- Effective relationship building skills with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
- A level or equivalent: ABB or above
- Degree or equivalent: 2:1 or above
Responsibilities
- Research relevant industries to support the wider team’s marketing initiatives, optimising various sources of information
- Contribute content to pitch books by conducting ad-hoc analysis
- Update industry databases and credentials
- Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models with support from colleagues
- Use a range of valuation techniques to support client advice including discounted cash flows, trading comps analysis, and transaction comps analysis
- Draft strategic review and transaction documentation (teasers, Information Memorandums, and strategic review reports for M&A and financing advisory mandates)
- Support the team in coordinating the transaction process both internally and with other advisers
