They build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various scenarios and analyze capital structures or M&A impacts. Responsibilities include creating marketing documents, client presentations and research for new business generation.

Requirements

  • Enduring work ethic and track record of success
  • Ability to function in team settings and on a self-directed basis
  • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills
  • Some experience in investment banking, management consulting, accounting or relevant financial services preferred
  • Demonstrated academic achievement and excellence outside of academics
  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

  • Prepare company valuations using discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables and transaction comparables
  • Prepare company marketing documents and client presentations and perform research for new business generation
  • Participate in origination and execution of M&A, equity, debt and ILS transactions
  • Build detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and analyze impacts of capital structures and M&A transactions
  • Prepare presentation materials for client meetings on strategic alternatives, capital markets activity and corporate finance
  • Participate in all stages of transaction executions from pitch phase through closing
