
About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join QBE’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team as a Risk Analyst. Play a hands-on role in issue and incident management, risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), and risk reporting. Help shape better business decisions by strengthening how risk is understood and managed.
Support the delivery of ERM activities across QBE European Operations, with a focus on issue and incident management and RCSAs. Oversee review, challenge and data quality validation in line with QBE standards. Work closely with business teams and other assurance functions, providing insight, challenge and clear risk perspectives.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and participate in business meetings to understand priorities and provide risk insight. Contribute to risk reporting, including inputs to quarterly dashboards and management committee reporting. Apply the QBE ERM Framework consistently across the business.

Requirements
- Ability to analyse information and data to generate meaningful risk insights
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to ask questions and challenge appropriately
- Understanding of, or strong interest in, risk management concepts, processes and controls
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work at pace with attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and an interest in the general insurance environment
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities

- Support the end-to-end Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, participating in business meetings to understand priorities and provide risk insight
- Contribute to risk reporting, including inputs to quarterly dashboards and management committee reporting
- Apply the QBE ERM Framework consistently and support its implementation across the business
- Communicate clearly and confidently, presenting findings and recommendations and being open to feedback
- Work collaboratively with Risk and wider assurance teams, contributing to a strong risk culture
