About this role

As a Solutions Architect on the Google Cloud Universal Ledger (GCUL) GTM team, you will lead the early-stage rollout of blockchain built for financial services that is currently in private preview. You will enable 24/7 atomic settlement, asset tokenization, and programmable finance through smart agreements.

In this role, you will partner with Product to execute Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) during this pivotal year for building critical mass. You will work flexibly across teams, helping establish new processes as we scale toward general availability.

As part of the Web3 landscape, you represent Google's technical expertise and commitment to regulatory excellence. Your mission is to help partners understand and adopt infrastructure, seeding the network with initial transacting users to accelerate the scale of this strategic opportunity.

You will own the technical relationship for GCUL with Financial Services customers, leading pitches and demonstrations alongside product and sales teams. This role offers the opportunity to establish GCUL as the global standard for financial interoperability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of experience in technical consulting, systems architecture, or integration within the Financial Services Industry (FSI).
Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
Experience working with payments, settlement, or digital asset technologies.
Experience with Web3 technology, including blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
Experience selling Web3 solutions to traditional financial institutions and managing stakeholder concerns.
Experience coding and deploying secure smart agreements.
Experience in advanced Web3 concepts like encryption, zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), and consensus mechanisms.

Responsibilities

Own the technical relationship for Google Cloud Universal Ledger (GCUL) with Financial Services (FSI) customers, leading pitches and demonstrations alongside product and sales teams.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ideate high-value use cases and provide support for integrating with the platform.
Drive the GCUL go-to-market strategy by creating technical enablement materials, whitepapers, and blog posts to scale the sales motion.
Represent GCUL as a subject matter expert at industry events and through public-facing publications to build market authority.
Prioritize and manage technical opportunities in tandem with Product to accelerate adoption within the financial ecosystem.
Partner with Product to execute Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) during the early-stage rollout of GCUL.
