About this role

This is an opportunity to join the Healthcare team in the London office of Alantra, an independent global financial services firm. The firm provides investment banking and asset management services to midmarket companies, families, and investors across Europe, the U.S., Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.

The role involves supporting the execution of Healthcare M&A transactions globally across a range of sub-sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing marketing materials and financial analyses, and contributing to the management of transaction processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members and clients to prepare business plans, information memoranda, presentations, and supporting financial documentation. This collaborative environment offers exposure to both execution and client relationship management.

There is also a business development aspect, with the opportunity to contribute to origination efforts and help further develop the team’s expertise within the healthcare sector. Alantra has completed over 1,000 transactions in the last five years, providing a strong platform for professional growth.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of professional experience
  • Existing affinity with the investment banking sector, gained through academic and corporate finance experience
  • Prior involvement in M&A transactions with full exposure to key execution workstreams
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skill set with ability to interpret complex datasets and high attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Solid organisational and project management skills, able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Team-oriented with ability to collaborate effectively and mentor junior colleagues
  • A self-starter with a positive outlook and can-do attitude, motivated to build expertise in the healthcare sector

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of Healthcare M&A transactions globally across a range of sub-sectors
  • Prepare marketing materials, information memoranda, and presentations for clients
