You will typically lead client projects, shaping deliverables and advising on strategy development such as growth strategy, product strategy, and new market entry. Your work will span commercial due diligence for private equity and corporate strategy for financial institutions including banks, insurers, and FinTechs.

The Financial Services sector is highly dynamic, with regulation, new entrants, digitisation, and evolving customer behaviour shaping the landscape. You will operate within a high-performing, integrated team that focuses on a variety of global and local clients, providing a diverse range of stretching experiences.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in strategy development, transactions, and commercial analysis within the financial services sector
  • Proven ability to lead client projects and manage senior stakeholder relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market sizing, competitor analysis, and financial modeling
  • Familiarity with a range of financial services sub-sectors including banking, insurance, payments, wealth management, and FinTech
  • Ability to work on both corporate strategy and private equity-related engagements
  • Track record of delivering high-impact strategic recommendations for blue chip or entrepreneurial clients
  • Demonstrated leadership in a consulting or professional services environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead client projects, shaping deliverables and ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Conduct commercial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, analyzing market size, growth, competitors, and revenue forecasts
  • Support financial institutions in identifying strategic priorities and defining actionable roadmaps for growth, market entry, and optimization
  • Perform detailed assessments of business performance and competitive positioning
  • Advise on growth strategy, product strategy, and new market entry for banks, insurers, payment providers, wealth managers, and FinTechs
  • Work closely with private equity and corporate clients on investment, acquisition, and divestment decisions in financial services
  • Manage and mentor team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
