About this role

We are looking for an Analyst to join our Communications, Media & Entertainment sector team. This role involves preparing market analysis, strategic analysis and valuation/financial modelling for clients in the communications infrastructure sector. You will also advise clients on their strategy and the successful implementation of transactions.

Day-to-day tasks include assisting in execution of mandated deals and preparation of marketing pitchbooks. You will gather public information, create financial model analyses, and analyse company performance on an absolute and relative basis. Additional duties cover drafting marketing documents, producing databases, and general research.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of financial services, accounting and regulatory capital through current employment
  • Understanding of the communications infrastructure sector, key players, strategic dynamics and current issues
  • Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients at all levels
  • Rigorous work ethic and willingness to invest time required to meet deadlines accurately
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking services and ability to apply them creatively
  • Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with information sources: Bloomberg, Reuters, Thomson Financial
