AlphaSense is trusted by the world's most sophisticated companies to remove uncertainty from decision-making through AI-driven market intelligence. As an Account Manager on the Financial Services team, you will serve as the main point of contact for clients ranging from hedge funds and asset managers to investment banks and private equity firms.
In this role, you will develop three-dimensional relationships with customers and key stakeholders, handling inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions. You will collaborate with account executives to identify new business opportunities and expand our footprint within each client account.
The Customer Success team is composed of highly trained product experts and strategic Account Managers who serve as value-added partners to Fortune 1000 businesses and the largest financial institutions globally. We are extremely consultative in our approach, obsessing over our customers and ensuring they have the right data at their fingertips to make the best decisions possible.
This role offers the opportunity to extract a wealth of knowledge from clients and bring that insight internally to product, marketing, and sales teams. By maximizing product usage and driving retention, you will directly contribute to the growth of a rapidly expanding SaaS company with over 6,000 enterprise customers and a majority of the S&P 500.
Requirements
- Relationship-driven with a strong ability to develop instant rapport with new people
- Demonstrated success at managing and growing relationships within Fortune 1000 clients and/or financial services companies
- Subject matter expertise in both internal and external relationship management
- Strong business acumen and commitment to effective processes and tactics
- Natural intellectual curiosity with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Understanding of the rapidly growing SaaS business and passion for the product
Responsibilities
- Develop three-dimensional relationships with customers and key stakeholders to effectively retain and grow the customer base
- Serve as financial clients' main point of contact for inbound queries, outbound engagement, relationship updates, and renewal discussions
- Collaborate with account executives to identify new business opportunities and expand the footprint within each client account
- Maximize product usage and ensure clients have the right data at their fingertips to make the best decisions possible
- Extract knowledge from clients and bring that insight internally to product, marketing, and sales teams
- Drive retention of a robust book of business spanning Fortune 1000 companies and large financial institutions
- Partner with the sales team to uncover opportunities to grow the business
