About this role

Man Group, a global alternative investment management firm with $227.6 billion under management, seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Apprentice to join our London-based TA team. This unique rotational opportunity provides broad exposure across the full talent acquisition lifecycle within a top-tier financial firm.

In this role, you will coordinate end-to-end interview logistics including scheduling, room bookings, and candidate communications while adhering to strict one-business-day SLAs. You will also shadow team members across sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement activities to build core TA skills.

Working alongside experienced TA professionals, you will support business partnering efforts by assisting with job description writing, initial candidate outreach via LinkedIn and job boards, and maintaining the team mailbox. You will also learn to process agency invoices and purchase orders, gaining foundational knowledge of TA operations.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate complex interview schedules
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to handle urgent matters like cancellations and last-minute changes
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills for candidate and internal stakeholder interactions
  • Comfort with using applicant tracking systems (e.g. Greenhouse) and scheduling tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Interest in talent acquisition within a global investment management environment

Responsibilities

  • Schedule interviews within a one-business-day SLA by sending calendar invites, booking rooms, and arranging logistical requirements for in-person interviews
  • Send candidate email confirmations including in-person location details and add candidates to building reception
  • Maintain interviewer spreadsheets including checking and updating the on-call rota, interviewer rota, and planners
  • Respond promptly to urgent matters such as interview cancellations, no-shows, and last-minute change requests
  • Liaise with senior management administrators to coordinate availability as required
  • Monitor the team mailbox daily, forwarding requests to the appropriate individuals or responding directly
  • Process agency invoices and purchase orders (POs)
  • Assist in writing and posting job descriptions under supervision with a focus on inclusivity and engagement
