Execute in-depth analyses to support new business development, transaction execution, and delivery of investment banking products and services. Perform research, financial modeling, apply core valuation methods, and complete due diligence at the direction of the Investment Banking team lead. Work closely with client staff to advance projects and present results.
Provide training and mentorship to summer interns and less experienced Analysts. Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions while supporting client relationship development. Research industries or sectors to target clients, evaluate content, and leverage learnings across deals.

Requirements
- Proficiency in core valuation methods including comparable companies, precedents and discounted cash flow
- Strong skills in financial modeling and Excel for complex analyses
- Ability to conduct due diligence and identify potential deal issues
- Experience synthesizing and presenting complex financial outcomes
- Knowledge of mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions
- Research capabilities on industries, sectors and macro factors
- Attention to detail in drafting presentations and marketing materials
Responsibilities
- Perform extensive financial/valuation analyses to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions and capital raising transactions
- Build financial models to value potential and actual clients and/or industries using comparable companies, precedents and discounted cash flow
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis and documentation of potential and live transactions
- Draft management presentations to highlight financial analysis and research results
- Assist in the development, production and delivery of proposals and presentations to clients and prospects
- Participate in client meetings and drafting sessions
- Research industries or sectors to target certain clients or industries and leverage learnings across deals
- Seek opportunities to streamline processes and propose solutions to complete tasks more efficiently
