The Electronic Trading Technical Product Manager is responsible for the technical product strategy, delivery, and evolution of the Millennium Exchange trading platform. This role sits at the intersection of market operations, trading technology, product design, and engineering. Own the technical product roadmap for components like central order book, matching engine, market data dissemination, and gateways. Drive enhancements for market quality, throughput, latency, capacity, and scalability.

Work closely with Market Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering, Platform Architecture, and Client Engagement teams. Translate market model changes such as tick sizes, auction mechanics, and order types into production-grade exchange services. Balance participant demands with market integrity and operational stability.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical product management for electronic trading platforms
  • Deep knowledge of capital markets structure including order books, matching engines, and market data
  • Understanding of low-latency, high-throughput trading systems and gateways
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial markets such as MiFID
  • Ability to translate market participant needs into engineering requirements
  • Background at intersection of trading technology, product design, and market operations
  • Skills in stakeholder engagement with operations, regulatory, and engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the technical product roadmap for Millennium Exchange components including central order book, matching engine, market data dissemination, and gateways and participant connectivity
  • Drive platform enhancements aligned to market quality, throughput and latency improvement, and capacity and scalability growth
  • Balance participant demands with market integrity and operational stability
  • Work closely with Market Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Engineering and Platform Architecture, and Internal Product and Client Engagement teams
  • Translate market model changes such as tick sizes, auction mechanics, and order types into technical requirements for production-grade exchange services
  • Ensure Millennium Exchange meets highest standards for performance, resilience, fairness, and regulatory compliance
