The Technology Risk Analyst role sits within the Division Centre Technology Risk team in London. The position suits an early-career professional who will support global colleagues on technology risk activities while developing knowledge of risk frameworks and emerging technologies such as AI.

Day-to-day work involves assisting with risk identification and assessment, tracking incidents and operational events, maintaining key risk indicators and preparing reports for senior management and risk committees. The role also includes coordination between Technology and functions such as Operational Risk and Internal Audit using the GRC platform.

The team contributes to working groups on cyber, IT asset management and data governance while driving modernisation of risk processes through automation, data analytics and AI-enabled solutions. This provides exposure to innovative technologies and client due diligence requests in a collaborative global environment.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a risk, audit, technology or related role, or relevant internship or graduate experience
  • Basic understanding of technology and interest in learning about technology risk and governance
  • Curiosity and willingness to develop knowledge in emerging technologies including AI and automation
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Responsibilities

  • Support global colleagues in the identification and assessment of technology risks, including potential financial, reputational and operational impacts
  • Assist in the analysis and tracking of incidents and operational events to identify trends and root causes
  • Support the tracking of action plans and monitor progress with escalation where required
  • Assist in the maintenance of key risk indicators and contribute to regular reporting for senior management and risk committees
  • Participate in working groups on technology risk topics such as cyber, IT asset management and data governance
  • Support the review and management of risks, issues and events logged in the GRC platform
  • Coordinate between Technology and other functions including Operational Risk and Internal Audit
  • Contribute to the improvement of technology risk processes through data, automation and AI tools
