About this role

QBE Europe is recruiting a Data & AI Risk Analyst to join the EO Data & AI function. The role strengthens data and AI governance, regulatory alignment and risk management capabilities across the organisation. It ensures risks are identified, assessed and managed effectively while services are delivered responsibly and compliantly.

Day-to-day work involves supporting governance and control frameworks for data and AI. The analyst tracks risks, monitors control effectiveness and assists with regulatory activities and evidence gathering. Stakeholder collaboration helps remediate data quality issues and maintain appropriate oversight.

The position sits within an international insurer employing more than 13,000 people across 26 countries. Requirements

  • Knowledge of data governance and risk frameworks in insurance
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for data and AI
  • Experience supporting risk identification, assessment and control monitoring
  • Ability to assist with audit responses and evidence gathering
  • Understanding of data quality remediation processes

Responsibilities

  • Support identification, assessment and tracking of data and AI risks across EO
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance and risk frameworks
  • Support the design and monitoring of data controls and control effectiveness
  • Assist in delivering risk and control assessments and regulatory activities
  • Work with stakeholders to remediate data quality and control issues
  • Support reporting of risk, governance and control metrics
  • Assist with audit and regulatory responses, including evidence gathering
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements relating to data and AI
