We have a new opportunity for an Associate Director to join our Consumer, Industrial & Retail (CIR) portfolio in our Corporate Banking team. Based in our London office, contribute to the overall success of Corporate Banking in a growing sector.

Work closely with the Director in the CIR team to manage client relationships, effectively addressing customer requirements. Complete high-quality credit presentations including forecasts and financial model analysis. Handle credit-related activities such as structuring loan transactions and performing due diligence.

Negotiate documentation, monitor compliance and industry trends for CIR clients. Contribute to prospecting and cross-sell activities through participating in marketing efforts. Thrive in a supportive team environment focused on high performance and inclusion.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, results focused, team player with strong learning ability
  • MBA or CFA designation or appropriate financial background/experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous corporate banking or credit analysis experience
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills; experience in leveraged lending transactions beneficial
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director in the CIR team to manage client relationships and effectively address customer requirements
  • Complete high-quality credit presentations including forecasts and financial model analysis
  • Structure loan transactions, perform due diligence, negotiate documentation, monitor compliance and industry trends
  • Contribute to prospecting and cross-sell activities through participating in marketing efforts
  • Analyze financial models and forecasts for credit decisions in CIR portfolio
  • Monitor CIR sector trends and client compliance in corporate banking
