Join the Capital Markets Summer Analyst programme for direct exposure to the Corporate Banking team. Focus on infrastructure, renewables, and energy transition in Europe. Work within deal teams on live transactions across products, industries, and clients.

Rotate around product desks including Origination, Syndicate, Loan Trading, and Primary Sales. Assist in idea generation, financial markets analysis, and risk monitoring. Work on specific projects from origination through execution to asset management.

Attend and contribute to team meetings while working closely with partner desks like Investment Banking, DCM, and Global. Gain experience in a top-tier franchise. CIBC empowers team members who are truly valued for contributions.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
Strong analytical skills for financial markets analysis
Interest in infrastructure, renewables, and energy transition sectors
Proficiency in Excel for modeling and analysis
Ability to monitor risks in corporate lending and transactions
Knowledge of capital markets products like origination and syndicate

Responsibilities
