About this role
As a Vice President in the Mid-Cap team at JPMorgan Chase, you will manage relationships with public and private companies generating $250 million to $2 billion in revenue. This role delivers traditional corporate banking products alongside investment banking solutions to a sophisticated client base.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying, pursuing, and executing sales opportunities across a broad range of financial products and services. You will manage complex, multi-product client relationships, coordinate with internal business partners from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives, and Private Banking, and collaborate with the credit underwriting team on analysis and documentation.
You will join the European Banking Group within Global Corporate Banking, representing the firm in the local banking and business communities. The team serves over 24,000 clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions, and not-for-profits, combining Chase's vast banking network with J.P. Morgan's global financial capabilities.
This position offers the opportunity to drive business independently while supporting more senior coverage bankers. You will leverage extensive industry knowledge and local expertise to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services, and credit opportunities for clients across the UK mid-market.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Client / Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or corporate banking products and services
- Strong execution skills
- Knowledge of the UK Mid Cap Market
- Knowledge and experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking products
- Prior banking experience working within the UK
- Fluent English language skills
- Solid credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, dependable and intelligent with a strong performance track record
Responsibilities
- Identify, pursue, execute and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services
- Manage complex, multi-product client relationships and support more senior coverage bankers
- Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners
- Proactively market clients and prospects; represent GCB’s European Banking Group in the local banking and business communities
- Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests
- Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities
- Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMorgan Chase rules, policies, and procedures
