About this role
As an Analyst in the Subsidiary Banking team, you will work with Managing Directors, Executive Directors and Vice Presidents, assisting with development and maintenance of client relationships including business intelligence, marketing and execution. You will assume full responsibility for internal processes such as obtaining approvals for deal executions, tracking Corporate Banking opportunities and maintaining accurate reporting. Coordinate with internal partners and stakeholders to ensure client needs are met.
The EMEA Subsidiary coverage team manages J.P. Morgan’s relationships with EMEA subsidiaries of clients headquartered in North America, APAC and Latin America. Understand both local and global requirements to align solutions meeting their objectives. Assist Subsidiary Bankers in managing internal aspects of these relationships.
Prepare internal memos, committee memoranda, relationship reviews, account plans, client portfolios and pipeline reporting. Conduct industry and company research, support credit analysis, approval and documentation processes. Maintain deal tracking, pipeline reports and balance sheet memos.
Support preparation of pitch books and marketing materials to generate new revenue. Answer RFPs, play a proactive role in client relationships and develop global partnerships across lines of business. Coordinate onboarding and implementation of new business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or similar with outstanding academic credentials
- Relevant experience with some combination of Corporate Banking, Credit, Risk Management or Treasury Services
- Strong computer skills including PowerPoint 'PitchPRO' and Excel based modelling
- Commercial mind-set and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent German speaker highly desired
- Additional fluency in other European and/or Mandarin language skills beneficial
- Strong quantitative, analytical and writing skills
- High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence and a team player
