We seek an experienced real estate professional for our UK Asset Management team. This role optimizes asset performance across a large UK portfolio of care homes. It blends financial acumen, operational insight in seniors housing or similar, and passion for resident experiences.

Conduct site visits, review operator performance via variance analyses, and build strategic plans. Perform detailed financial modeling, translate performance to operational drivers, and partner on value-add capex. Collaborate with Investments, FP&A, Operations, and Capital Projects teams.

Develop and present annual business plans and updates to senior leadership. Success involves full P&L accountability, delivering NOI growth, and managing multiple assets. Challenge conventional approaches to unlock performance in lease-up, operations, and expenses.

Requirements

  • Experienced, highly analytical real estate professional
  • Financial acumen, attention to detail, and operational insight ideally in seniors housing, multifamily, student housing, or hospitality
  • Think like an owner and operate with full P&L accountability
  • Delivered material NOI growth, not just monitored performance
  • Comfortable managing multiple assets at scale in parallel
  • Actively challenge conventional operating approaches to unlock performance
  • Fluent across lease-up execution, stabilized operations, and expense management
  • Real estate experience in housing required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits to evaluate property operations, leasing velocity, sales and marketing performance, and identify issues or opportunities with operational partners
  • Review monthly operator performance, identify trends through variance analyses, and create forward-looking strategic plans
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, including valuations, pro-forma cash flow analyses, and return assessments for asset level value-add initiatives
  • Translate financial performance to underlying operational drivers
  • Partner with the Capital Projects team for the implementation of value-add capex program for existing assets
  • Develop and present annual business plans, budgets, and strategic performance updates to senior leadership
  • Partner with internal teams such as Investments, FP&A, Operations, Business Analytics, and Capital Projects to align portfolio strategy
