The Portfolio Manager joins the Development Finance team, reporting to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities span managing opportunities from due diligence to completion, overseeing facilities to Practical Completion and redemption. This role suits those with Development Finance experience seeking skill growth.
Daily work involves assisting stakeholders, liaising with professionals like Valuers and Solicitors, and proactively managing facilities as main contact for Borrowers and teams. Manage drawn facilities via PMS reports, process drawdowns per LI policies, and handle Credit Amendments. Undertake site visits and input accurate loan data.

Requirements
- Experience of Development Finance at a similar lender preferable
- Clear and confident communicator at all levels (face to face, verbal & written)
- Good presentation skills and ability to form personable relationships quickly
- Ability to build and maintain long term business relationships
- Detailed approach and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to manage high volume of cases with precise updates to stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to adapt to system and process changes
Responsibilities
- Assist all stakeholders with the application process and ensure prompt responses with updates
- Liaise with and instruct professionals (Valuers, Quantity Surveyors, Solicitors), reviewing reports for Credit Underwriting
- Proactively manage facilities through due diligence as main contact for Borrower, Professionals, and Internal Stakeholders
- Manage portfolio of drawn facilities, reviewing PMS progress reports and processing drawdowns per LI policies
- Produce Credit Amendment papers, present to Credit, and oversee completion
- Maintain full understanding of funding line requirements
- Input loan details accurately in database system, keeping data timely
- Undertake site visits to understand schemes and potential issues
