The Group Risk Management function develops and implements frameworks for managing risk across business lines, providing expertise, reporting and oversight as the second line of defence. The role focuses on financial risks including credit, market and liquidity risk.
Join a small team identifying, monitoring, reporting and managing financial risks within the Citco Group, with main focus on the Banking Services Division in the Netherlands, Canada, Cayman Islands and Curacao. Develop and become a subject matter expert in risk analysis and quantitative tools using Excel, Access, VBA and SQL. Produce reporting on credit and liquidity risk factors for risk managers and senior business management.

Requirements
- Degree or qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experience
- Highly numerate and logical, analytical and thorough approach
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel required, experience with Microsoft Access a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to keep calm and prioritise work under pressure
- Interested in modelling the impacts from Global Regulatory Developments
- Excellent attention to detail and adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve analytical and reporting tools in line with regulatory and business needs for Credit, Liquidity and Market Risk
- Produce reliable, consistent and concise reporting on credit and liquidity risk factors for risk managers and senior business management
- Identify and escalate potential issues to risk managers and business owners
- Provide Risk updates to groups within the first and second lines in a variety of risk governance forums including Risk, ALCO and Credit Committees
- Compile and investigate Key Risks and Early Warning Indicators
- Provide quantitative and qualitative support to the design, development, implementation and communication of new and existing enterprise-wide risk and control initiatives
