About this role

WisdomTree is seeking a Capital Markets Associate based in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing WisdomTree’s capital markets desk. As of 28th April 2026, WisdomTree managed $62.4bn in assets under management in Europe and $158.3bn globally across diverse strategies.

The role involves acting as a core component of the capital markets team, interacting with internal and external stakeholders across client execution support, ETP ecosystem engagement, research, and relationship management. Provide support on technical topics regarding ETP trading and mechanics to distribution, research, and product teams.

Serve as key liaison to ETF sell-side, covering sales, trading, and back offices at banks and market makers. Engage with buy-side clients through sales to discuss trading WisdomTree ETPs and educate on best execution practices. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop product and market content.

Promote platform liquidity by working with external partners, Product Development, and Operations to improve ETP lineup and primary market setup. Develop tools to monitor liquidity, identify issues, and analyze industry trends in economic, political, regulatory, and capital markets contexts. Contribute to thought leadership at conferences and forums.

Requirements

One to three years financial industry experience, ETP industry experience and/or equity/program/derivatives trading experience a plus
Undergraduate degree; MBA or CFA preferred
Solid organisational skills and ability to work across multiple functions
Background in an ETP firm, a bank’s trading and/or structuring desk or a market making firm preferred
Understanding of trading mechanics and financial instruments across asset classes: cash instruments, futures, swaps, options and ETN/ETP structuring
Develops and maintains broad knowledge of trading industry developments, competitors, and exchange rules

Responsibilities

Speak at industry conferences, regulatory forums, and professional bodies to contribute to thought leadership
Work with external partners, Product Development, and Operations to improve ETP liquidity and optimise primary market setup
Develop tools to monitor product liquidity, identify issues, and analyze ETP industry trends for strategic contributions
