About this role

Great opportunity for a Vice President to join our growing UK Mid-Cap coverage team. Responsible for managing relationships with public and private companies with revenues of $250 million and above. This group provides traditional corporate banking products as well as investment banking products to its clients.

Mid-market Global Corporate Banking offers clients the convenience and vast banking network of Chase, combined with the thought leadership and global financial capabilities of J.P. Morgan. Deliver extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and dedicated service to more than 24,000 clients including corporations with annual revenue from $250 million to $2 billion. Offer comprehensive financial products including credit, equipment finance, real estate finance and treasury services.

Business partners include product specialists from Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Treasury Services, Corporate Derivatives and Private Banking. Coordinate sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners. Position requires an experienced coverage banker capable of executing transactions and supporting more senior coverage bankers.

Proven execution and client relationship skills are essential, with strong corporate finance, credit, and transaction execution skills required. Drive business independently in the UK market with prior banking experience preferred. Develop a network of referral sources and represent GCB’s European Banking Group locally.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a Client / Relationship Manager selling corporate finance or commercial banking products and services
  • Strong execution skills
  • Knowledge of the UK Mid Cap Market
  • Knowledge and experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking products
  • Prior banking experience working within the UK
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications abilities
  • Strong leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, execute and close sales opportunities for a broad range of financial products and services
  • Manage complex, multi-product client relationships and support more senior coverage bankers
  • Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners
  • Proactively market clients and prospects; represent GCB’s European Banking Group in the local banking and business communities
  • Collaborate with credit underwriting team on analysis, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests
  • Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate finance, treasury services and credit opportunities
  • Strictly comply with all regulatory and JPMorgan Chase rules, policies, and procedures
