About this role

We are launching a range of UCITS Active Equity ETFs across the UK and Europe. Seeking a Portfolio Manager for our London-based Equities team reporting to a Senior Portfolio Manager in New York. Work directly with portfolio managers and analysts on rules-based active equity ETF strategies.

Gain proficiency in proprietary rules-based investment approach, including creation/redemption processes, authorized participant relationships, and intraday liquidity management. Initial responsibilities center on active ETF portfolio management duties. Implement strategies with daily portfolio optimization and ETF creation/redemption management.

Monitor portfolio risks, daily events, and rebalance portfolios through proprietary systems to deliver mandates and maintain ETF efficiency. Prepare and analyze reports for external clients and internal partners. Participate in client meetings with relationship management and distributions teams.

Over time, test and lead new portfolio management tools, procedures, and processes. Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors. Manage projects to enhance portfolio outcomes, operational efficiency, and ETF competitiveness.

Requirements

Extensive background in the asset management industry
Demonstrate equity portfolio management abilities based on prior experience
Comfort level with quantitative tools with strong quantitative and analytical skills
Experienced with quant model constructions and application of quantitative research to portfolio construction process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build collaborative relationships
Equity ETF experience in Europe

Responsibilities

Work with Senior Portfolio Managers implementing active equity ETF strategies, including daily portfolio optimization and ETF creation/redemption management
Monitor portfolio risks and daily events and rebalance portfolios through proprietary systems to deliver investment mandates and maintain ETF efficiency
Prepare and analyze various reports and data sets for external clients and internal partners
Participate in prospective client and existing client meetings with relationship management and distributions teams
Test new portfolio management tools, procedures, and processes and lead such activities over time
Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors
Become proficient in the team’s portfolio management research applications and quantitative tools
Manage projects, proactively seek solutions and drive programming development enhancing portfolio outcomes, operational efficiency, and ETF competitiveness
