This role supports the Director of Group Internal Audit in developing and delivering the Internal Audit plan across all Group entities.
The position focuses on Internal Audits relating to IT, Cloud, Security & Cyber, as well as Change management, while providing assurance on Digital business development. You will understand the company's technology strategy, operations and regulatory environment to identify emerging risks. Deliver IT-related audits from planning and fieldwork to final reports, ensuring robust challenge and value.
As part of the IA Senior Leadership team, act as subject matter expert in information technology, digital and change, coaching other auditors. Provide thought leadership in IT, security and change, and manage relationships with co-source partners. Proactively support the business control framework and identify risks outside appetite levels.
Join at a brilliant time amid business growth, raising the profile of Group Internal Audit. Develop the audit plan around IT, cyber risks, digital business and new technologies like cloud and Generative AI. Build effective stakeholder relationships and assist in Board papers for strategic assurance.
Requirements
- Professional qualifications such as CISSP or CISA, CPA, CIA essential
- Proven track record of practical experience in working with wide range of IT controls
- Extensive audit experience in a large, global financial services firm or consultancy
- Proven track record in managing effective third party relationships
- Experience of individually establishing and maintaining effective relationships and networks
- Demonstrable experience in supporting the development of the strategic direction of a function
- Strong knowledge of risk-based Internal Audit procedures, including planning, testing and sampling methods
- Recent experience in auditing or delivery in technology operations, cyber, digital product development
Responsibilities
- Support Director of Group Internal Audit in raising the profile of GIA and providing thought leadership in IT, security and change
- Provide major contribution to developing the Group Internal Audit plan around IT, security, cyber risks, digital business and major change projects
- Understand the company's technology strategy, operations and regulatory environment to identify emerging technology and digital risks
- Deliver relevant parts of the Group Internal Audit Plan to time, providing challenge, value and robust assurance
- Deliver IT related audits from planning, ToR, fieldwork to final report
- Act as subject matter expert to wider GIA in information technology, digital and change, coaching other auditors
- Provide leadership to the wider Group Internal Audit as part of the IA Senior Leadership team
- Build and maintain effective business stakeholder relationships and manage Internal Audit co-source partners
