About this role

BTIG is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join its Investment Banking coverage group in London. The candidate will be involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including M&A, private and public offerings, and other advisory services. Primary responsibilities include day-to-day management of ongoing assignments and development of materials for board level discussions.

This role requires working on multiple projects simultaneously, with focus on new business generation. Interact independently with corporate clients, investors, and senior bankers. Assist in developing and cultivating client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Perform product and market research, various analyses, and provide analytical support on mergers and acquisitions. Prepare offering memoranda, proposals, and other materials for client meetings. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field with strong academic performance
  • At least 2 years of investment banking experience
  • Fluent in English and German on a professional level and preferably another European language
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with banking-related databases (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)
  • Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills for presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organised, proactive, energetic, decisive, with high level of integrity

Responsibilities

  • Interact with corporate clients, investors, and senior bankers independently with minimal oversight

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored recommendations for clients
