Join UBS as an Investment Banking Analyst within the Investment Bank's GB Consumer & Retail Group in London. You will originate and execute strategic transactions for leading corporate and financial sponsor clients in the Consumer & Retail sector.

Day-to-day, you will build financial models, perform valuations, and support live M&A and financing transactions. You will manage multiple workstreams, prioritise under pressure, and deliver high-quality output on tight timelines.

Requirements

6-12 months of prior full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experience
Genuine interest in Consumer & Retail and motivation to deepen technical and industry expertise
Financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise under pressure, and deliver high quality output on tight timelines
Clear and concise communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Eager to learn, ready to challenge yourself, and motivated to join a highly successful team
Team player who takes responsibility and accountability for their work

Responsibilities

Originate and execute strategic transactions for corporate and financial sponsor clients in the Consumer & Retail sector
Build and maintain financial models and perform valuations with a high level of attention to detail
Manage multiple workstreams and prioritise under pressure to deliver high-quality output on tight timelines
Support live M&A and financing transactions from pitch through closing
Conduct industry and company research to support deal origination and execution
Prepare client presentations and internal approval materials
Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to drive deal execution
