About this role

You will work in the Healthcare Investment Banking team in London, advising healthcare clients on strategic and financing matters including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions, and capital raises. This role offers exposure across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, healthcare services, diagnostics and healthcare technology.

Your day-to-day will involve building financial models, conducting valuation analysis, preparing presentation materials, and supporting transaction execution from inception to close. You will analyze sector trends and company strategy to contribute to client advice and deal sourcing.

Requirements

  • Hands-on exposure to investment banking, M&A, ECM or related corporate finance work through a relevant internship or full-time experience
  • Experience in a healthcare-focused advisory environment is a strong plus but not required; a genuine interest in the healthcare sector is essential
  • Solid financial analysis, valuation and modelling skills with exposure to merger analysis and other transaction-related analysis
  • Ability to produce accurate, high-quality presentation materials
  • Intellectually curious with an interest in understanding sector trends, company strategy and market developments
  • Driven, collaborative and creative with strong integrity
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

  • Advise healthcare clients on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions, capital raises, and private transactions
  • Build and maintain financial models, including valuation, merger analysis, and other transaction-related analysis
  • Prepare accurate, high-quality presentation materials for client meetings and deal execution
  • Conduct sector research and analysis on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medtech, healthcare services, diagnostics and healthcare technology
  • Support deal sourcing and strategic advisory by analysing company strategy and market developments
  • Contribute to transaction documentation and due diligence processes
  • Participate in client meetings and assist with relationship management alongside senior team members
