Launch your career in Equity Capital Markets Syndicate as part of the EMEA Equities team at J.P. Morgan. You will execute high-profile ECM transactions and connect issuers with institutional investors across a wide range of deal types.

Work closely with colleagues across ECM, Sales, Trading, Legal and Compliance to execute equity and equity-linked transactions. You will sit at the heart of deal execution, bridging issuer clients and investors while contributing to IPOs, ABBs, Rights Issues and Convertible Bonds.

Support Syndicate Deal Captains on EMEA ECM deals, set up and manage books of demand, and coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties. Additional duties include investor education, roadshows, market wraps, ABB lists, and structuring company buyback programs with Equity Trading and Compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong academic qualifications
  • Relevant experience in Banking or Markets
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work under pressure whilst managing multiple deals
  • Effective communication skills and strong time management
  • Highly motivated, quick learner and team player with ability to work independently and display strong initiative
  • Very good understanding of risk, controls and compliance
  • Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, Dealogic and Bloomberg

Responsibilities

  • Support Syndicate Deal Captains to execute EMEA ECM deals including IPOs, ABBs, Rights Issues and Convertible Bonds
  • Set up, analyse and manage books of demand for ECM transactions
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external counterparties throughout deal execution
  • Support investor education and management roadshows
  • Target investors and analyse performance for ECM deals
  • Produce daily and weekly market wraps and ECM deal summaries
  • Maintain ABB/Blocks lists and track investor feedback
  • Liaise with company representatives and internal teams to structure buyback programs
