The Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience offering extensive exposure across the firm. Summer Analysts in BREDS gain hands-on exposure to the evaluation, underwriting, and active management of real estate debt investments.

Participants receive valuable guidance through mentorship and continuous feedback, alongside technical and soft skill training. Analysts also benefit from networking opportunities with professionals across the firm and full immersion in Blackstone’s culture.

This program provides a unique chance to work with a global leader in real estate investing, owning and operating assets across logistics, data centers, residential, office, and hospitality. Summer Analysts build foundational skills in deal execution and capital markets.

Requirements

Strong interest in commercial real estate and debt capital markets
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate investment recommendations clearly
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
Demonstrated interest in real estate through coursework, internships, or extracurricular activities

Responsibilities

Assist in the origination and underwriting of real estate debt investments across the commercial real estate capital structure
Support the active management and monitoring of existing debt investments globally
Conduct market and property-level research to identify investment opportunities
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and financial models for deal evaluation
Participate in due diligence processes, including analysis of property cash flows and credit quality
Collaborate with senior team members on deal execution and portfolio management
