About this role

Lendable is building a new Second Charge Mortgage product, bringing its tech-first approach into a market that has traditionally been slow and process-heavy. The firm seeks a Compliance Business Partner with in-depth knowledge of the Mortgage Conduct of Business rules and experience advising mortgage lenders and brokers on regulatory requirements.

The Compliance team ensures the company adheres to regulatory standards and internal policies through advisory support and monitoring activity. It collaborates with all areas of the business to keep operations in line with regulatory expectations and deliver good customer outcomes.

Day-to-day work includes providing compliance advice on strategic projects, reviewing customer communications and financial promotions, and monitoring regulatory changes with gap analysis. The role also involves representing compliance in key internal forums and supporting actions from audits and reviews.

Lendable offers ownership across a broad remit within small teams of exceptional people who are relentlessly resourceful. The firm builds technology in-house using data, machine learning and AI while targeting the large UK and US consumer finance markets.
