About this role

You'll work on the Liability Management within Debt Capital Markets in London. You'll be part of a collaborative, high performing Global Banking team, interacting regularly with senior colleagues across regions and with Treasury executives at leading EMEA financial institutions and corporates.

Your day-to-day responsibilities involve applying analytical skills, high attention to detail, and problem solving to fixed income analytics, particularly bonds. You'll use advanced Excel and produce high quality PowerPoint materials while managing multiple deadlines simultaneously with a self-starting approach.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and well developed problem solving ability
  • Foundation in fixed income analytics, particularly bonds
  • General numerical aptitude with advanced Excel capability
  • Experience producing high quality PowerPoint materials
  • Self-starting approach with confidence to take ownership and think long term
  • Client service mindset with a commitment to delivering creative and practical solutions
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Support the origination and execution of liability management transactions within Debt Capital Markets
  • Conduct fixed income analytics, particularly bond valuation and market analysis
  • Prepare high quality pitch books and marketing materials using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Interact regularly with senior colleagues across regions and with Treasury executives at financial institutions and corporates
  • Manage multiple deal timelines simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Monitor market conditions and provide timely updates to the team and clients
  • Collaborate with coverage colleagues to deliver creative and practical solutions for clients
