Are you passionate about strengthening internal controls and compliance? As a Senior Internal Auditor at Baker Hughes, a global energy‑technology company, you will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity across the organization by supporting strong governance and reliable financial reporting.

You will support the regulation compliance function through the collection, collation, and reporting of financial information. You will audit financial and procedural aspects of the business, apply advanced internal control and accounting methodologies, and manage the Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ).

Our Finance and Compliance teams act as trusted advisors, helping the business manage risk and strengthen controls while enabling sustainable performance. You will communicate with colleagues and stakeholders regarding audit approaches, findings, and coordination activities.

You will deliver work objectives typically completed within 3–6 months, with results and impact realized over a 2–12 month timeframe. This role offers the opportunity to lead small projects, influence stakeholders, and contribute to the integrity and transparency that define Baker Hughes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Finance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Internal Control.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective problem-identification and problem-solving skills with proven analytical and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the regulation compliance function by collecting, collating, and reporting financial information.
  • Audit financial and procedural aspects of the business using advanced internal control and accounting methodologies.
  • Promote and maintain an effective internal control system across the organization.
  • Manage and maintain the Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ).
  • Advise functional managers on projects, processes, and procedures within the internal control and audit domain.
  • Communicate with colleagues and business stakeholders regarding audit approaches, findings, and coordination activities.
  • Contribute as a team member on audit or compliance projects, or lead small projects as required.
  • Deliver work objectives typically completed within 3–6 months, with results and impact realized over a 2–12 month timeframe.
