About this role

At Grant Thornton we are looking for an experienced audit manager with CASS and Safeguarding experience to support a growing client base in a market that is developing quickly. The role offers the chance to split between external statutory audit and CASS/Safeguarding work if desired. Our UK audit practice is built of over 2300 people working across 24 locations.

As an Audit Manager you will be responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients while managing technical matters and project managing client work. You will oversee and develop your team to the highest standard and build strong working relationships with clients. Flexible working including reduced hours and job shares is supported.

Our audit practice is led by Wendy Russell and supported by 50 audit partners with a strong position in wellbeing, resource and quality shown through recent positive AQR results. Requirements

  • Experience of managing CASS and Safeguarding audits of firms in different sectors in addition to dealing with technical matters
  • Project management experience
  • Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
