The firm runs absolute return, enhanced fixed income, macro and alpha strategies for investors worldwide.
The Risk Analyst role sits within the Risk Engineering function and focuses on risk modelling, performance analytics, risk reporting, controls and related infrastructure. The team handles both BAU work and project initiatives that span core systems and deep technical analyses.
Work centres on Python and SQL development while collaborating daily with the wider risk team on the trading floor. Analysts gain detailed exposure to fixed income, equities, currencies, commodities and the derivatives linked to these asset classes.
This position suits recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience who want to build expertise in hedge fund risk management across global macro businesses.
Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or Computer Science, graduated within the last two years or graduating in 2026
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of financial markets and products preferred
- Programming skills in Python and VBA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
- Support risk modelling, performance analytics and risk reporting within the Risk Engineering function
- Maintain controls and related infrastructure using Python and SQL
- Deliver BAU tasks alongside project work covering core systems and technical analyses
- Conduct deep-dive analyses across fixed income, equities and global macro products
- Collaborate with the wider risk team located on the trading floor
- Build expertise in traded products, strategies and associated market risks
