About this role
GE Vernova Financial Services Capital Markets team is recruiting a Summer Analyst for a 10-week internship. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated individual interested in the energy sector. The focus is to enable sales of GE Vernova equipment and services by facilitating third party financing for customers.
The Summer Analyst will analyze and/or develop financial models, projections and project finance cashflows. Responsibilities include analyzing customer operations and finances to determine creditworthiness and conducting industry/company research and analysis. Assist in preparation of credit requests and other deal specific documentation.
The team works closely with GE Vernova businesses and a large number of Export Credit Agencies, International and Regional Banks, Development Finance Institutions and other providers of capital. Support the completion and submission of ECA applications. Assist the team with running a competitive process to select financial institutions for transactions.
Summer analyst will be exposed to financial modeling, deal documentation, credit analysis, and regulatory compliance. Independently develop and execute projects aimed at improving business processes. Assist in the underwriting of new transactions, asset management and syndication.
Requirements
- Anticipated graduation in Spring/Summer 2026/2027 from a bachelor’s program
- Majors: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics or related
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Undergraduate/rising senior
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom (no sponsorship)
- Fluency in English (written and oral)
- Willing to work out of the London UK office
Responsibilities
