About this role
Simmons Adaptive offers flexible resourcing solutions for clients in changing markets, delivering the high quality expected from Simmons & Simmons. We seek mid-level to senior corporate banking lawyers to support a key client on various regulatory projects. This is a full-time hybrid role until the end of September.
The consultant will work within an in-house legal team on regulatory projects, gaining exposure to a wider scope of work. You will engage regularly with a sponsoring Partner and client team for full support. Access to the firm's resources and know-how is provided throughout the assignment.
Operate in a highly supportive team environment with more experienced lawyers, fostering collaboration and problem-solving. Thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving setting while meeting tight deadlines. Balance autonomous work with team contributions effectively.
This role enables mid-level lawyers to develop a broader base of skills in corporate banking. Participate in firm training, development, and exclusive networking events for Adaptive consultants. Benefit from the backing of a leading international law firm.
Requirements
- Mid-level to senior qualified lawyer with banking experience from leading private practice or in-house
- Sound knowledge and experience of LMA facility documents, APLMA and typical English law guarantee documents
- Excellent analytical skills when reviewing finance documentation
- Problem solver offering a collaborative approach
- Strong relationship building skills, strong work-ethic and solution-led attitude
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
- Ability to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)

- Work with LMA facility documents, APLMA and typical English law guarantee documents
