London, GB · Full-time · £30,000 – £35,000
About this role
Abound is redefining consumer lending in the UK using advanced AI and Open Banking data to make fair, affordable personal finance available to more people. We look at the full financial picture rather than relying solely on credit scores, and our approach has delivered market-leading credit performance.
We’ve issued over £1.3bn in loans directly to customers while achieving profitability just 2.5 years after launch. Backed by £2bn+ from top-tier investors including Citi, GSR Ventures, and Deutsche Bank, we’re recognised as one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs.
In this hands-on role, you’ll own and deliver compliance monitoring, provide clear reporting to senior management and the Board, and stay ahead of FCA developments. You’ll partner across the business as a trusted advisor on compliance matters and support customer outcomes as an escalation point for complex cases.
You’ll work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, contributing to regulatory risk, product development, and strategic initiatives. This is a broad role where you’ll gain real exposure across the business while helping us manage risk, compliance, and regulatory change as we expand into new markets and product lines.
