Shape executive reward strategy and influence decisions at the highest level as Group Executive Reward Manager. This high-profile role supports the development of the executive reward framework and leads its implementation across Drax Group, ensuring it attracts and retains exceptional talent while aligning with governance requirements and shareholder expectations.
You will lead the design and delivery of executive reward programmes across Board, Executive Committee and senior leadership populations. Day-to-day activities include preparing for Remuneration Committee meetings, developing agendas, papers and recommendations, and partnering closely with senior stakeholders and external advisors.
Reporting to the Group Reward Director, you'll work across complex reward activity including executive remuneration, incentive plans, Board governance and international reward matters. You'll collaborate with Finance on incentive reporting and with Company Secretariat on share plan governance and compliance.

Requirements
- Significant executive reward experience gained within a medium or large listed organisation or through a specialist reward or management consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of job evaluation, benchmarking, executive remuneration principles, incentive structures, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting Board and Remuneration Committee activity, including preparing papers, reports and recommendations.
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and experience modelling reward scenarios and interpreting complex data.
- Excellent written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex reward topics clearly and credibly.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leaders, Executive Committees and Board-level stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of the executive reward strategy to attract and retain senior talent.
- Lead the design and delivery of executive reward programmes across Board, Executive Committee and senior leadership populations.
- Prepare for Remuneration Committee meetings, developing agendas, papers and recommendations while partnering with senior stakeholders and external advisors.
- Lead the preparation of regulatory submissions and disclosures, including the annual remuneration report.
- Develop and oversee reward metrics and targets across short-term and long-term incentive plans, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities.
- Partner with Finance to manage periodic and year-end incentive reporting, performance tracking and audit requirements.
- Support executive hiring activity by developing reward proposals and remuneration packages for senior appointments, including replacement award calculations.
- Work with Company Secretariat on the administration and governance of share plans, including grant approvals, vesting activity, reporting and compliance.
