Perform extensive fundraising advisory services and complete due diligence activities while working closely with project management and investor coverage teams. Advance projects, convey relevant investor updates, and present findings to clients. Take ownership of deal admin tasks like maintaining deal trackers, scheduling investor calls, and updating Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Prior investment banking or fundraising (placement agent or investor relations) experience required
  • Previous experience as an Analyst, or equivalent, strongly preferred
  • Internship or prior work experience in financial services industry preferred
  • Proven track record in university studies required
  • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
  • Critical thinking with problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of deal admin tasks such as maintaining deal trackers, scheduling investor calls, and updating Salesforce
  • Provide advice to clients on fundraising strategy, structuring, timing, investors, and legal terms
  • Assist in the development, production, and delivery of proposals and presentations to clients and prospects
  • Actively participate in client meetings and internal discussions
  • Anticipate potential deal issues and pass concerns to team members in real time
  • Evaluate prospective fundraising clients
  • Manage client data rooms
  • Mentor summer interns and teach subsequent classes of analysts, imparting best practices
