Day-to-day responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling, managing a team, preparing client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients. A sophisticated level of interpersonal skill is required.

Associates provide in-depth quantitative financial analysis pertaining to business, industry and economic forecasting. They identify emerging market trends and regulatory changes within investment and advisory domains. Financial models, company valuations and merger & acquisition comparisons are constructed based on research and client analysis.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts; ability to analyze and value businesses
  • Some experience in Investment Banking (corporate finance/M&A) or equivalent
  • Results driven and able to perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Proven team player who effectively interacts with internal groups and clients
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite (Excel a must) and financial reporting skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth quantitative financial analysis as it pertains to business, industry and economic forecasting
  • Identify emerging market trends and regulatory changes within the investment and advisory domains
  • Construct financial models, company valuations and merger & acquisition transaction comparisons
  • Interpret data concerning price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks and economic influences
  • Assist in the preparation of offering memoranda, transaction-related documentation and client presentations
  • Gather industry, regulatory, and economic information, company financial statements for forecasting future potentials
