About this role

CGI UK is a bespoke property fund management business providing investment strategy, purchases and sales, asset management, performance analysis and valuation services. It specialises in managing segregated pension fund mandates for three Local Authority clients with over £1bn assets under management. CGI UK is a 100% owned subsidiary of Colliers UK.

The role involves working with two Directors to manage and grow the two bigger pension funds, assisting with new business opportunities. Duties include setting annual strategies, buying and selling with due diligence, and asset management to maximise returns. This encompasses lease re-gears, renewals, new lettings, and redevelopment opportunities.

Join a small London team of three senior Directors as an experienced Assistant Fund Manager at Associate Level. Collaborate with Colliers teams for property management, leasing, and surveying services. Build strong relationships with pension fund clients while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified
  • Experience in property fund management or asset management
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial analysis, modelling and reporting
  • Excellent understanding of real estate markets
  • Ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams
  • Professional qualifications such as IMC or CFA highly desirable
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with Fund Managers to set annual strategies for pension funds and assist with buying and selling including due diligence
  • Undertake asset management to maximise returns and reduce risk, including lease re-gears, surrenders, renewals, new lettings, refurbishments and planning issues
  • Write quarterly and annual reports
  • Oversee the independent valuation process on the funds
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing pension fund clients
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modelling to support investment decisions
  • Collaborate with teams across Colliers to benefit the pension funds
  • Assist with new business opportunities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
