About this role
Allianz Commercial covers an extensive range of risks, from aircraft and international business to offshore wind parks, protecting businesses worldwide. We are looking for an Audit Manager in Delegated Underwriting Governance based in London. Your role supports governance and oversight of audit for Facility Partner business across all divisions.
You will ensure compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment with the AGCS Delegated Underwriting Authority Functional Rule in all delegated underwriting authority activities. Contributions directly impact the quality, consistency, and performance of delegated underwriting operations. This includes enhancing audit and governance processes through best practices.
You join a team designing and overseeing governance of delegated underwriting authorities agreements. Work closely with Claims Strategic Partnership Management, UWIS, and global and regional Portfolio Solutions teams. Focus on governance frameworks, process improvement, and proactive engagement with technical underwriting and operational aspects.
Manage departmental procedures for DUA review and audit to keep them fit for purpose and aligned with strategy. Analyse audit reports to identify issues against Allianz Commercial Risk Management Strategy. Develop action plans with realistic timeframes and monitor performance.
Requirements
- Experience in delegated underwriting authority governance and audits
- Knowledge of AGCS Delegated Underwriting Authority Functional Rule
- Familiarity with Allianz Commercial Risk Management Strategy
- Proficiency in managing audit processes including appointing, tracking, analysing, and reporting in systems like OneView
- Skills in stakeholder engagement across underwriting, claims, and portfolio solutions teams
- Ability to develop and maintain departmental procedures for DUA review and audit
Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance of departmental procedures for DUA review and audit, ensuring they are fit for purpose, add value, and align with organizational strategy
- Contribute to the ongoing development of all procedures within the Delegated Underwriting Authority environment
- Develop and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Delegated Underwriting Authority audit and governance processes
- Recognise and maintain relationships with stakeholders and support functions across all divisions
- Manage business reviews, UWFs by Allianz Commercial underwriting staff and audits undertaken by external companies, ensuring appointing, quoting, tracking, analysing, output of issues, insight, registering, and payment of fees in OneView
- Analyse reviews and audit reports received, identify potential issues, consider against Allianz Commercial Risk Management Strategy, communicate with action plans, set realistic timeframes, and monitor performance
- Support the Head of Governance Delegated Authority Business in governance and oversight of Facility Partner business audits
